MousePad

1 or 2 people can play. When you start MousePad, you are asked if you are playing a person. If you respond 'No', the computer becomes player 2.

A box appears that prompts you to enter your name.

After you enter your name and click OK, you will see the screen display the MousePad playing area.

There are 4 buttons at the top of the playing area. To begin, Player 1 clicks 'Roll Dice'. When you do this, 'Roll Dice' changes to 'STOP' and the dice roll. To complete your roll, click 'STOP'. The program automatically moves your piece for you.

If you don't like the way things are going, you can start a new game. You can NOT start a new game in the middle of a roll.

Special Blocks

Along the way, you can land on a block that contains a card. The card will appear in the form of a dialog box and will inform you that your mouse will be moved a certain number of blocks. If you are playing the computer, you will see the computer's cards and you will need to click 'ok' through them. Listed below are the cards and the value that is associated with them:

• Cheese (any kind) = Forward 3
• Peanut Butter = Forward 3
• Dumpster = Forward 5
• Garbage Truck = Forward 5
• Cat (any kind) = Back 3
• Poison = Back 5
• Mouse Trap = Back 5
• Farmer's Wife = Back 6
